You may be surprised to find that you cannot delete or edit messages once they have been sent in our chat. This is not a bug – it is by design. This feature helps to create a safe and respectful environment for communication between parents.

Why this is the case:

• communication remains transparent

• the history of the conversation cannot be altered retrospectively

• knowing that a message cannot be taken back helps people choose their words carefully and avoid impulsive reactions

• everyone can be sure that agreements are upheld

Whatever you agree on Monday, you’ll find it in the chat on Friday too – in black and white.
