My account and subscription

Overview

You always have control over your subscription. You can find an overview and manage your subscription in the app’s main menu.

You can choose from:

  • monthly subscription

  • annual subscription

When you first register, you’ll get 1 month’s free use.

Once this period ends, payment for your chosen subscription will be automatically charged via your App Store or Google Play account, and the paid period will begin.

Each parent pays for their own subscription separately.


Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time. You will continue to have access to the app until the end of the paid period.

Once this period ends, your account will be locked, but your data will remain securely stored. If you reactivate your subscription later, you can seamlessly continue where you left off.

For iOS (Apple) users

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.

  2. Tap your name at the top of the screen.

  3. Select Subscriptions / Subscribed Services.

  4. Find your app2us Family subscription.

  5. Tap Cancel Subscription.

For Android users (Google Play)

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.

  2. Tap your profile icon in the top right-hand corner.

  3. Select Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions.

  4. Find the app2us Family subscription.

  5. Tap Cancel subscription.


The difference between cancelling a subscription and deleting an account

Cancelling a subscription and permanently deleting an account are two different things.

Cancelling a subscription

  • you will stop paying for the app

  • the app will remain available until the end of the paid period

  • Your data remains securely stored

  • You can reactivate your subscription at any time and pick up where you left off

Permanent account deletion

  • Your account will be permanently deleted after 30 days

  • Your data will be permanently deleted and anonymised

  • This action cannot be undone

If you simply wish to stop using the app temporarily, simply cancel your subscription.


What if one parent stops using the app

The app2us Family app is primarily designed for collaboration between two parents.

If one parent stops actively using the app (for example, if their subscription expires), some shared features may not be fully usable.

Possible solutions:

  • you can gift a subscription to the other parent

  • you can also use the app with another close relative who helps you with childcare (for example, the child’s grandparent)
